Arthritis in the neck and lower back normally come on as we approach 50 years old and will exhibit mild to strong achy pain and stiffness and is normally diagnosed with an Xray or other imaging.
TYPICAL SYMTPOMS OF NECK OR LOWER BACK PAIN

Mild to strong achy pain and stiffness that will increase when we are not moving, but typically are less when moving around

Will commonly get worse with cold weather

Treatment is focused on reducing the stiffness and tightness and attempting to increase pain free range of motion

Will include same treatments for neck pain and headache

If symptoms include nerve compression due to bone spurs, then treatment can also include same treatments for nerve compression in neck
